Cities are factories of ideas because they act as concentrators of people, capital, creativity... They are spaces for innovation, because it is in the encounter, in the diversity and huge amount of connections between economic sectors, between technological vectors, or between agents with different capacities where the paths to innovate and create economic activity are found. Smart cities are a vindication of the creative power of cities, and for this reason this topic seeks to give relevance to efforts to create the spatial, resource and relational conditions to multiply this innovative power of agglomerations from a smart city perspective that seeks to ensure the conditions employment generation and economic activity.
